Dreamy Book Hall is built in the spirit of the old grand libraries — hidden reading rooms, vaulted ceilings and shelves that climb from the floor to somewhere far overhead. Every staircase, arch and lamp is there to make the scene feel less like an ornament and more like a place you could wander through, book in hand.

Shelves that climb out of sight

Tall stacks of tiny books line balcony after balcony, linked by winding staircases and railings that draw the eye upward. The whole hall is layered front to back, so there's always another room glimpsed through an archway — and after dark, the built-in light warms it all into a soft amber glow that catches the spines of a hundred little books.

888 pieces, a project to savour

This is an ambitious, advanced build — 888 precision-cut wooden pieces that come together over roughly 12 to 20 hours with a clear, illustrated manual. Raise the floors, thread the staircases, furnish the rooms and wire the warm lighting at your own pace. It's the kind of long, screen-free project that's genuinely absorbing from the first piece to the last lamp.

Down to a tiny grand piano

A little grand piano, carved arches, turned railings and rows of printed book spines give the hall its refined, lived-in character. Finished, it makes a striking gift for a reader or maker — set it between real books, on a desk or in a reading corner and it brings warmth and quiet grandeur to the whole room.
